Harry HaramisB.Sc. Phm., Partner,
Medical Arts Pharmacy Harry graduated from the University of Toronto in 1985 and has extensive experience in all facets of professional pharmacy service. This includes geriatrics and palliative care in the hospital setting, as well as community pharmacy service that embodies hospice and long-term care. One of Harry’s early achievements was the establishment of the “Hospital in the home” program, a forerunner to the now widely practiced Home Care IV infusion program. And as President of Medical Arts Pharmacy, Harry actively envisioned and positioned the company’s services to meet the needs of the aging population. A major example of meeting these needs was his creation of the “home visit program” prior to it being a government sanctioned service. As part of his commitment to continuing education, Harry has completed his certification as both a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and a Certified Compounding Pharmacist.
