Transcript— About one-third of our lives are spent sleeping, and sometimes we have sleep problems when we "spring forward" for daylight saving time. Yes, we lose an hour's sleep in spring, and need to minimize the impact. Just remember that "good sleep hygiene" includes knowing how much sleep you need; getting away from the TV at bedtime; only going to bed when you ARE sleepy; and routinely waking at the same time. And if sunrise is making you lose sleep, try darkening your windows.
